| We believe in one true God, eternal and unchanging, who is love. He exists in three forms, separate yet identical in attributes and character, each of the three completing the redemptive role of salvation: God the Father, Jesus Christ God’s only begotten Son, and God’s Holy Spirit. We believe God the Father rules in sovereignty, and all powers of heaven and earth and under the earth are subject to His control. We believe God is Creator, uniquely responsible for man and this universe, his habitation. We believe God is Sustainer, holding all things together until the completion of His purposes, and nothing can alter His ultimate design. We believe Jesus Christ is God conceived of the Holy Spirit within the womb of a virgin, and therefore born of human flesh. Though equal with God, He did not grasp that equality selfishly, but chose to lay it aside, taking the form of a man, being obedient to the will of God. We believe every word spoken by Jesus Christ as He walked on earth was given to Him by God the Father. Jesus was without sin, and always within the will of His Father in heaven. There has only been one moment in history when Jesus Christ was separated from God the Father: when He willingly took on Himself the sin of the world as He died on the cross. We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead in victory over death. Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, where he continually makes intercession for us as our Advocate. We believe Jesus Christ will return a second time to earth in glory, in ultimate and complete victory over the forces of evil and establish His Kingdom. We believe the Holy Spirit was sent from heaven to convict us of sin, comfort us in redemption, and guide us into truth. The Holy Spirit is operative before salvation, drawing men to Christ. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells man’s heart, sealing him in Christ eternally. We believe the Bible is God’s Word, complete and unalterable. It is unfailing and true. It is utterly reliable for instruction, correction, and reproof in every circumstance of life, in every age, for every person. We believe in God’s divine inspiration of every word of the Old Testament and the New Testament, and do not believe in any theories of error or contradictions. We believe this Word shall stand forever. We also believe the Bible is the power of God for salvation, the mirror of men’s souls, judging their thoughts and intentions even unto the very marrow of their bones. We believe as we lift up the Word of God and speak these words to men, its power is unleashed to touch the core of the man we are not capable of reaching. We believe in the existence of principalities and powers of evil whose master is a fallen angel called Satan. He is at war with God, wanting to thwart God’s plan and usurp God’s place of authority over the universe and in the hearts of men. He and his demons hate Jesus Christ, and Christians because they are disciples and servants of Christ. We believe Satan has no power except that which is temporarily granted him by God the Father, or tolerated by us. We are certain Satan has been defeated by Jesus Christ, and at Christ’s final victory Satan will be thrown into the outer darkness and deepest pit of hell. We believe in heaven and hell; heaven created by God for His children, and hell created by God for Satan and the fallen angels who chose to follow him. We believe God does not wish for any man to be condemned to hell, but man chooses that of his own free will by rejecting the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We believe each man dies once, and after that he will be judged eternally. We believe this judgment is based solely on each man’s acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and not on any basis of our works that no man may boast. We believe the church is intended by God to represent the body of His Son Jesus Christ on earth today. We believe its primary purpose is to lift Jesus Christ up before men, preach God’s Word, and minister God’s love. To this end, we believe God has gifted individuals differently so each contributes according to his gifts and the whole body is built up in love through the equipping of the saints.  back to Who We Are
