"But it's fun, and great sex! Something new all the time, new with each new person!" you say.

I thought so, too. But about thirty years ago, I decided to be married and love just one man for the rest of my life. We decided together to live according to the "Works of the Spirit" list. More than thirty years with the same love partner! Am I disappointed? Only that I feel terribly cheated by the time I wasted in other relationships and the baggage of leftovers I brought into our marriage that took us years to work through. Love? Feelin' good? In tune with each other? Union of our minds and bodies? I tell you, whatever your relationship, you will never even come close to the true glory of such things without the union of your spirits before God in a marriage that honors Him.

Are you getting a clearer picture yet, of how you may have been drawn into Satan's design? Or are you gradually becoming aware that even now, as you read these words, you are in danger of being sucked into one of his traps? But you're not there yet, my friend. Read on. Satan has far too often seen the Hound of Heaven (as the Lord is sometimes called) pursue after His loved ones who wander from His presence. Your enemy, Satan, knows God will step up the arguments and pleas from the Holy Spirit which are stabbing the conscience.

Satan's tactic here? Again, it is one we have given him room to use. It is the most dangerous arena of the battle yet to be faced, and it is open for him to enter and use because we have so long chosen to dwell only in the horizontal plane of our own minds (ignoring the vertical call from God and focusing only on our own view of ourselves and the world we live in). Satan will launch his defensive arguments for our choices and behavior in the arena of HUMAN REASONING, the most dangerous arena of existence when we are ignoring God!

The burning brief memories of curiosity, wanting more, and desires fulfilled will fuel Satan's arguments to make the final choice to sell out completely and "do it my way"!
