The Ultimate Goal of Satan's Plan:
- to destroy every person because we are created in the image of God (for Satan hates God, who rules the universe supremely), and...
- to discredit and destroy the testimony of every Christian (for God now rules supremely in our hearts).
How can he do this? God tells us in the Bible, "the whole world... [meaning, those in the world who do not name Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and the things around us] ...the whole world lies in the power of the evil one" (I John 5:19). That means, anybody who has not willingly placed himself under God's guidance and direction is subject to be directed and guided by Satan.
I just told you, God has temporarily given him the right to do this. But you have, too. Satan has temporarily been given power to do these things, by YOU! By continuing to indulge in the desires and lusts of the flesh and of the mind, while ignoring the call from the Holy Spirit of God to return to the Scriptures and to prayer, you and I give room to Satan. Can you feel it? Can you sense the vacuum that is building? Can you feel yourself being SUCKED IN?
I suspect some who will read my story will be sucked in by perhaps one of the biggest traps Satan uses as his device. It's called "romance." Some will read this story of Dominique and I falling in love and wonder why all the detail, thinking it drags on a bit long. But I'm certain there will be other readers who would be willing to admit, you enjoy it! In fact, you find yourself getting caught up in the romantic parts of the story, even wishing it could happen to you. (Go ahead, admit it: how many of you found yourself wishing I'd skip the "teaching parts," and get on with the story?) That's why I wrote it that way!
I want you to realize how dangerous is our present-day infatuation with romance; and how easily it leads us into further entrapment of sexual involvement. You and I may think we're falling in love. But if we allow our emotions and feelings to continue building unchecked (as we focus completely on the enjoyment and pleasure of them), we can so quickly be carried right into a sexual encounter...because it seems so naturally the next step in our relationship.
That's what happened to us! How did it happen? It happened because we enjoyed each new feeling and emotional discovery in our relationship, and we wanted MORE! That's just it, my friend. Where does "wanting more" lead? You want more of my story. You want more of your own story. Allow your thoughts free-rein, and where does it lead, so discreetly, so romantically, so POWERFULLY? We ignore God's power and, instead, feed power to Satan! He will quickly use those of this world whom he knows are also weak and move them into place to fulfill our secret desires.
